Press release - Taba Heights

Dive Straight Back In

Clear waters, gentle currents and shallow dives make Taba Heights a breeding ground for diving converts
Release date: 23.05.11

Ideal learning conditions at Taba Heights means a third of all try divers immediately book a diving course right after resurfacing, say the diving experts at Red Sea Waterworld.

The most popular route to diving success at Taba Heights is the ‘Discover the Red Sea’ half day programme, which is gentle enough to suit even the most nervous of first-timers. The course inspires nearly half of all participants to book a further course with Waterworld, with a third immediately converting the course to a PADI Open Water, starting the very next day.

Taba Heights is an ideal location for novice divers, with crystal clear waters, very little current and shallow dives available, all perfect for a relaxing underwater encounter.

“At Waterworld, we strive to make our first-time divers feel as comfortable as possible in the water and so many people – ranging from eight to 88 - immediately come back for more, we’re very proud to say that we’re obviously doing something right!” says Nicola Osgerby, Assistant Operations Manager of Red Sea Waterworld.

With a host of rare creatures in the area and a partnership with National Geographic that enables Open Water students to learn about protecting the underwater environment, Taba Heights is also perfectly placed to view the spectacular sights of the Red Sea with ecological awareness.

Red Sea Waterworld is a purpose built five-star water sports and diving centre located in the mystical, spiritual and magical resort town of Taba Heights. Situated against a natural backdrop of untamed desert, cinnamon mountains and vibrant sea, Taba Heights claims an exceptionally picturesque location on the Sinai Peninsula. With unmatched access to the stunning coral reefs of the Red Sea, Taba Heights is a number one destination for diving aficionados.
